Welcome to Rolling Raven Ranch! We’re John and Robyn Hutchison, and we’re thrilled to share our story with you. Over twenty years ago, we made the bold decision to move our family to the breathtaking Prescott National Forest. When we discovered this beautiful property, we felt a mix of awe and trepidation—many told us it was too much, that we wouldn’t make it. But we believed in our dream, and so we took the leap.

Living off-grid was a challenge, but it became an opportunity to teach our children the values of self-sufficiency and stewardship of the land. We feel a deep responsibility not only to our family but also to our community, the wildlife we cherish, and the mentors who guide us along the way.

One winter, as I shared food with the cold birds outside, I was delighted to see ravens flocking to the offerings, rolling in somersaults and cawing joyfully. Their exuberance captured my heart and inspired the name Rolling Raven Ranch.

When we first visited this land, we took a night to reflect, and we both awoke with a shared vision: to create a space where our community could come together for parties, retreats, and celebrations. After years filled with family reunions and cherished moments, we are excited to open our doors to you.
